I read Ishmael MANY years ago when I was about 15 and couldn't fully comprehend its meaning. I read it about a year ago for a 2nd time and it was very, very, thought prevoking. I read somewhere that this book was the inspiration for Pearl Jam's music video "Do the Evolution" which happens to me my favorite music video of all time. check it out
