Nader Announces He Will Run for President
WASHINGTON (AP) â??Ralph Nader is launching a third-party campaign for president.
The consumer advocate made the announcement Sunday on NBCâ??s â??Meet the Press.â? He says most Americans are disenchanted with the Democratic and Republican parties, and that none of the presidential contenders are addressing ways to stem corporate crime and Pentagon waste and promote labor rights.
Nader also ran as a third-party candidate in the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections. He is still loathed by many Democrats who call him a spoiler and claim his candidacy in 2000 cost the party the election by siphoning votes away from Al Gore in a razor-thin contest in Florida.

Ralph Nader for President in 2008
AND HE IS PART OF THE GREEN PARTY!
End the "War on Drugs:" Decriminalize possession of drugs. Regulate and tax drug distribution. Release nonviolent drug war prisoners. Treat drug abuse as a health problem, not a criminal problem. Drug abuse treatment on demand.

Best of luck to Ralph but now onto a bit of an issue, LMAO!:
It's been asked in here "How can a conservative be a marijuana smoker or an advocate for legalization?"; "Now we're going to find out where you fans really stand!"
IF you are a TRUE marijuana smoker, grower, advocate; I'm taking it that there will be alot of people switching thier votes to Nader.....goodbye to Obama, Clinton, Paul and bring in the new candidate.

Nader Announces He Will Run for President
Woo hoo!
Now all the Paul supporters can blindly rant about yet another worthless candidate, what will be funny is reading all the "Paul Supporters" advocate for Nader now, almost as funny as when they advocate for Obama.
It baffles me how someone can blindly and fanatically support candidates that are polar opposites i.e. Osama and RuPaul.
So all Paul supporters,
GET ON THE NADER BUS IT JUST PULLED IN!
I know that his anti-buz and corp conspiracy views will be very attractive to most of the Paul supporters, after all he reinforces the notion that THEY ARE ALL OUT TO GET YOU!

Nader Announces He Will Run for President
I worked for Ralph Nader, one day. I learned all about a pesticide bill and then went door to door, trying to get signatures. It was my first day of training, then I decided that I didn't want to drive that far, for work.

We'll have to wait and see what the political landscape is in the next few months to see if Nader will have any impact on this years election.
Right now ... his effect would be minimal. I still think this is the "punish the Reps" election year.
