    DE-LEAFING CHRONIC AT VEG STAGE

 I know that you should avoid pruning Kronik grow tips as it produces a central cola. However, I would like advice about de-leafing some lower fan leaves. I am turning the plants in about 10 days so they can flower. Some preflowers exist already and I think I've struck lucky with all the plants which I grew from seeds looking like girls (although I will definitely know when they go into flower 12/12 Son T). They are currently under a 600 w MH. Main issue is will I stress my girls by removing some of their fan leaves. Thanks

I wouldn't. Why risk overstressing the plants? Unless you bought some femmed seeds, chances are that you'll end up with some males, and (after removing them) you will have more space under the lights for remaining ladies.
Removing a lower fan leaf or two that have already been damaged is no big deal, but wholesale removal of healthy foliage can cause problems. (stunting, stress nanners, lower disease resistance...)

DON'T TRIM FAN LEAVES!!! The plant needs them to produce sugars! It's like taking the solar panels off the space station! Plus it stresses the plant and could herm it.

Thanks Rusty. I appreciate the reasoning. I do not consider deleafing necessary but the person suggesting this to me (a so-called friend)keeps telling me that I am wrong and should deleaf :wtf:. I AM NOT GOING TO . Mother Nature designed these babies and I am not going to nip and tuck them - it seems counter-productive and too harsh. I think they are just vexed because I have done a pretty good job. Peace and Love to Arizona .:rastasmoke:

Your friend is wrong. No need to do a thing to vegging plants. Later in 12\12 you may remove some material at the bottom of plant for easy maint. access.
