I did just find a post on a UK420 site where a mate says that Jorges 2006 Bible is the source of the 24-36 hours of darkness before harvest will increase THC. I believe I read it in a magazine article, also mentioned in the post.

Anyhow, here is a photo of a pice of bud that I had to cut a little rot out of. It's drying much faster than the hanging buds.

it sends the plant into a panic...gushing out resins to try to catch that last bit o energy....there you get your more potent nug...I drive a nail through the stalks as well as the 36 dark...but thats an old country boy method...not sure if it works, but it dont hurt:thumbsup:
supposedly aids the panicking=more resin....just MHO on the dark theory....

Allrightynow,
after six days of hanging with a fan and an exhaust I put 'em in three 12' x 12' x 20" cardboard file boxes. I'll check until the stems snap in two and then cut the buds off the branches and cure in jars.

not so good of detail, them buds really look fine up close. Notice a couple of the purps? Hmmmmm! Still box drying for a while. unfortunetly, I knocked off a couple of bowls of keif when I shot them pics. Yi!
