Hey Shov are you familiar with a potting soil called Happy Frog? Can you plant seedlings in it?

Nope, I remember seeing Shultz, Miracle Grow, Jolly Farmer, and store brands (Ace Hardware, etc.). I've seen the products in the catalogs Fox Farm etc. What's Happy Frog?

I put together my own soil. Usual recipe as I posted. I often add worm castings but I didn't have time to scout those out yesterday.

My well water tests PH 7. My soil runoff is aprox. 6.5 so I think I don't have to add any sweetener (lime). Comments, Please?

..and I put seedlings directly into this soil. I've tried the seedling mix. It's really not necessary imo.

Well, I'm running out of room fast. And almost all of the plants are showing preflowers (all females). So I changed the (4) T-T5s over to 3000K lamps (I'm already running the 400 watt HPS). Timer is reset to 7 am-7pm. I will probably add two 26 watt CFL warm whites for the corners, 42 watters if I can get to wallyworld.

See, it's pretty crowded already. Wish I could share a couple of these bubblegum hybrids with someone.

Weedhoud, Happy Frog is fine for seedlings.
Shov, do you make your soil mix in the summer for NEXT year? That's good planning! I always run out in early spring!
