Fourth of July Crop
Here's a quick peak at the plants at six weeks.
I have just finished (carefully) moving the tied down branches around and a light water. Still under the HPS, waiting for the replacement MH to arrive. One or two more weeks and I'll flip them to 12-12. I still only have the one plant preflowering the others still have opposite branching. Every day the plants put out new nodes on the main top as well as the side branches.

How do you keep them so short?? mine are 24 and 26 inches tall, even after FIM, and still growing a couple of inches per day.

Fourth of July Crop
I'll have to get a photo. <G>
These things are thick at the soil line and most of them are shaped "S". I usually FIMed but tried something diff this time. I cut the lowers back a week ago, usually I would let nature run it's course but the lowers never produce jackshyt.
Also, I am used to growing with flourescent lamps, which although not stretchy are not as compact as this. This is Bubblegum, which I have a lot of experience with growing outdoors...and sideways. <G> So, maybe it's just me? lol

but I don't know if FIMing the branches would result in more bud or not. I haven't intentionally tried that.

Fourth of July Crop
Made some plant soil today
40lb of Hyponex potting soil (straight, no nutes)
40 ponds of composted cow manure
bag of vermiculite
bag of perlite
a little bit of peat moss.
Mixed in a childs wading pool and bagged it up. I transplanted two of the plants that were in smaller containers into 5 gallon pails.
I'm thinking of flipping to 12-12 this weekend, which will be seven weeks of veg. The plants are getting full and I don't have enough room as it is. Photos on Friday.
