Vaporizers turn THC into Vapor

You inhale that vapor.

Doesn't that mean that if you vaporized hash, it would be stronger and you'd wind up using more of it but with better results? (I'm sure my logic has all sorts of holes, fill in where necessary)

Anyone try this?

It can be done but the much higher density makes it more difficult. You'd want to chop it into small pieces or shave it if it's hard enough. The thinner the pieces the more likely they'll get full heat penetration.

Update:

Got an old school vape (like the soldering iron type) on Ebay for $30 and tried out loose keif. I'm going to keep this for solids and get a vapor bros for herb.

If that's the 'hot plate' conduction type vape, then it'll do fine for vaping fine stuff like kief. A convection model like the VB will do as well. Just sprinkle a little on top of some herb in the bowl and adjust the vape so it stays there.

The Vapor Bros is a good one, but the Vaporwarez VaporCannon is just as good, is available at a better price (some great $120 deals on ebay with a free grinder and scales), is compatible with two piece whips, and has a better warranty. Personally, I can't deal with any of the box vapes with the lousy downward angled heater cover. They force you to prop up the rear end so your bowl contents won't fall out. There are better options IMO.

Not my problem . I wouldn't buy a box vape with that 'dump your bowl contents down on the heater tube' angle. There are enough boxes to choose from that have a nice horizontal angle. And in that price range I'd pay the extra $ and get the new little brother to the SSV, Da Buddha (hate the name though).

I actually don't ever dump my stuff because I don't pack it too much.

I don't like to pack at all. My first whip vape (still got it) had a horizontal heater cover, worked fine, and I've avoided downward angles since then.
