Getting a single snapshot with his hands off his heart could just be selective journalism. I see it all the time, people taking a snippet of an action or a word and completely changing its meaning. As for the American Flag pin, I'd like to hear is side of the story/reasons.

Besides, doesn't it seem a lot more unpatriotic of the republicans to strip away multiple constitutional rights? Since when has upholding the constitution been of secondary importance? Every democratic society that transitions into a dictatorship does so by stripping away rights, one by one, all the name of "protecting" the people.
It astounds me that the American people trust government so much, that giving the government rights to arbitrarily imprison and spy couldn't possibly result in abuse of that power.

Little flag pins and euphamistically-named bills like the "patriot act" don't make a patriot. A president that values the constitution, respects state rights, and looks out for the best interest of the American people and nation, is a patriot.
