I've researched my way to confusion please help
I been growing the sea of green method for 4 years and I like to use 16- 20 plants per lamp. Caution, Like this it is important to only give the plants between 7 & 10 days veg growth before flowering otherwise you will end up with tall spindly plants. If you leave them too long and they get too bushy, you'll need to remove the lower branches so you only have main stem and a few upper side stems.

According to some dutch friends, commercial growers in holland are now only using 12 plants per lamp.
Either way the general rule is the more plants per lamp the less veg time needed.
Hope this helps.smileibiza Reviewed by smileibiza on . I've researched my way to confusion please help Hello my friends MerriJohn here, After three different designs changes I have come up with 4'x3' veg and mother room out fitted with 400watt hps with passive hydro system. My flowering room is roughly 8'x10' with 1000w hps and 400 watt hps with full spectrum bulbs. The room is sealed and walls mylared. My plan all along has been to grow using the sea of green method, however my local hydro store explained that a beginner growing reaping 1 gram per wattage of light every two months is doing well Rating: 5
