Best spectrum with T5s, beat HID by far!
nlite Linear Fluorescent Tubes
Check out the spectrum of the Bio Tropic T5 Fluoro. It spikes at 440nm and again at 665nm. Cannabis plant photsynthesis is able to use 95% of the 440nm lumens and 99% of the 665nm lumens. This means that you can grow bigger with less lumens=less watts.
Check out the pics/spectrums, need I say more?
First pic is Marine 11000k, Actinc (blue)
Second pic is the 25000k, Bio Tropic (pink)
Third pic is the 2700k, Red (orange)Paht_Hed Reviewed by Paht_Hed on . Best spectrum with T5s, beat HID by far! nlite Linear Fluorescent Tubes Check out the spectrum of the Bio Tropic T5 Fluoro. The Marine lights are for marine plants and aquariums.
The Bio Tropic are for equitorial plants, to be used in conjunction with the red bulbs when used for cannabis. I would use basically what they suggest for the growing of plants on their site. Use 50% BIO TROPIC and 50% DAYLIGHT WHITE 6500K for seedlings, all bio tropic for cutting to stimulate rooting. cool white 4000k and bio tropic for veg then switch out the cool whites for the reds then for early flowering to promote switching from veg to flower go with all reds then later in flowering add some blue by adding some bio tropic bulbs. You can simulate the spectrum cycle the sun goes through better in this way than with HID combination.

what doesn't make sense is why try to simulate the sun when you're already changing
the spectrum output with the purple (not pink) tube?
the bio tropic seems perfect by itself since plants get what they need at the peaks as
well as supplementary wavelengths
i just think the white is pretty much useless since it spikes up in the green
i would use the blue and bio tropic for veg and then all bio tropic for flowering
you'll see once you read the wavelength analysis on this site that retails them from the UK;

Cannabis doesn't need a 50/50 mix of blue/red light like the bio tropic puts out. During veg it actually uses more blue light than red. This is why you supplement with the bio tropic and use another color bulb to provide more blue light. You use the red to start flowering b/c it will kick start the cycle then later add the bio tropic to get the best spectrum. You run bio and red together and your peaks are at 615nm 665nm and 440nm which is a GREAT spectrum for growing, way better than any HPS on the market

hey pothead, let me know if you happen to order anything off their site or just contact them
or whatever you do
because i e-mailed them regarding my concern on their non-existing copyright date and
i never received a reply which lead me to think that they no longer service customers
and herein, that site, is referred to Stuff-U-Like Mind ShopI cannot guarantee that I am who I say I am, nor can I guarantee that I have any rights to the media that I share online. I am unlike anything that I portray myself to be, nor am I who you think I am. You think I am, therefore I\'m not...
