So last month i had the "wise" idea that i could grow at college, but my grow log was deleted due to the fact that it was gonna be in the dorms...since then i thought about it...and i realize it was an ignorant idea to risk my education...so thanks to all the veterans of growing that stopped me from fucking up...so i have started the grow at a friends house...i hope this one will be allowed to stay on the forum...
anyways this grow is going to be one plant...its an attempt to re-create hydrocannabis' grow

I want people to be convinced that they can grow in a small space and encourage others to grow...therefore making a more beautiful world haha

That's a more practical place to grow, and will be a lot easier. Have you ever tried sinking eye-bolts into concrete-block dorm walls? lol!
Plus the space is more and your friend controls who enters his house if he owns it or has a legal lease agreement.
Good luck. Hint: Grow 3 plants at first, to be certain at least one is female!

Thats actually the number i started with haha...i've always heard 3 is the magic number....i guess its true with MaryJane also haha

okay so my first attemp utterly failed...i have cfl's but i'm thinkin about bumping it up to an hps...not anything thing huge...i was thinking something like the lithonia 50 watt floodlight from home depot...i dont believe i would have to buy a ballast for it...and i was thinking about making a whole new grow box possibly something like a small rubbermaid and then throwing in some Cfl's for supplemental lighting. any suggestions?

You'll get more lighting bang for your buck with an agricultural light. A T5 flourescent fixture is great and runs real cool, search user 'kdspecial' for an all- T5 grow that yielded very well. Even a smaller wattage HPS such as a 150 or 250 can be found reasonably cheap- check Inside Sun.
Instead of a small rubbermaid, a piece of actual wooden furniture like a bureau can be more stealth and easier to keep cool- more interior space to work with is in your favor, and drilling holes in the back to install exhaust and power cords is easy.
Remember that with a HPS or MH, you need about a 2x2x4' space MINIMUM for the smallest HPS practical, like a 250. Even that is pushing it.

cfls can do alot.
check my 1st 2 logs, i was cfl crazy.
i have a space thats 3x7x8hi and it has a 250 hps with a median temp of 80 almost all the time, but summer i need ac bad, so, go bureua like stinky said, but try cfls or the T5s, fo'sho':thumbsup:
