Ok thats a movie, but you see gay in the closet hicks from the bible belt all the time. Take for instance on "cops" the show on Fox. A big fat pig who says ve-hi-cle and mentions "the lord" all the time, this same fat funny sounding bubba, whenever he frisks someone he goes straight for the balls. i think supression of gay people in the south is why many gay people in the south feel socially forced to act "as a bible respecting southerner should" and take their urges out in other ways. i do believe the north is more accepting of social differences, thus allowing people to act how they want(need) to.
