i assume you mean: what makes mud good?

1) stone: usually the most powerful (and enjoyable) feeling of being stoned wins here (either headbuzz or couchlock count)

2) taste: many of this years winners were strains known to have slight flavours associated with them (chocolope, kaia kush, ,and from other competitions: blueberry, bubblegum, northernberry, it goes on...)

3) smell: even if its the worlds best stone, ya still dont want to smell like you just ate dogshit. nuf' said.

4) looks: not as important, but a purple/blue tinted plant with bright red hairs is sure to draw attention of the judges

hybridlove420 Reviewed by hybridlove420 on . cannabis cup are all these cups worthless? i go over to amsterdam every other year for taste testing missions,armed with a notebook and a list of new strains to try. after 3 different strains i have absolutley no idea what im smoking,dont know what weed ive bought what weed i need to try or where i am,and the worse thing is everything tastes the same. so how do the testers do it in the cups?i read the reports of all the smokers going through ounces at a time,how do they even know what there doing!.or is Rating: 5
