Storage Question

Hey,

New to the forums, not really big on pot but I do smoke every day or two for something to do (living on your own is lonely! :P).

Anyways, I was out last night and really drunk and ended up buying an ounce. Now that it's morning and I'm sober, I don't know why I bought it.

Anyways, I trust the guy I bought it off and it looks like it's a heavy ounce. I did a bit of research and it looks like it's either Northern Lights or Hydro. It has a really nice strong scent, it's very, very fresh and moist, and looking at it I can see lots of red/orange strands all over it, and I can see quite a large number of THC crystals.

My question is this - I'm probably going to have this ounce for a month before it's done, so I want to store it in such a way that it's going to stay fresh. My pot usually completely dries out after a couple days (I leave it in an open bag), but this time I'm trying to keep it fresh.

Right now, I have the ounce vacuum sealed in a sandwich bag, and I have it sitting in my fridge. Will this keep it fresh?

Fresh is obviously relative as I prefer my stuff on the dry side.

I keep mine in an air tight (read smell proof) container and don't really have moisture issues. My only concern would be the stuff stinking up your fridge.

either way, find yourself a dollarama or similar and buy a cheap airtight jar ( either jamjar or the rubber-seal with clip type).

make sure its not damp in there, or it may mold.

also, storing in a fridge may help, but isnt completely necessary. just place it away from heat and light.

just something airtight, mason jars work great. keep it in a dry, dark place.
