Okay, so I think we owe Rebgirl a little bit of credibility here. She's been a regular on this board for a while, so I don't think she'd go on willy-nilly making up stories.

That being said, mistakes do happen, even on large scales. Maybe her dealer was on something lol.

She did say in a couple posts up that she called her dealer and sorted the situation out.

For pricing weed, there are many factors involved such as cost of living, risks, etc. In NYC, it's not uncommon to pay $65 - $75 for 1/8 oz. of good stuff. I've heard of delivery services charging 95 an eighth. People generally earn higher salaries and are used to paying a premium for quality, service and convenience.

In less urban areas, where the wages are lower and the cost of living is less, weed is usually cheaper as well. I'm not willing to move just to save a few bucks on the small amounts of pot that I purchase. It's not even worth it for me to grow it, because I don't need as much as I used to. I'm more than satisfied with one to two ounces of good stuff a year.

IDK if rebgirl is telling the truth but i would think she is making up a stupid ass lie. How would a dealer mistake and eighth from an ounce from when hes handing it to you. No one is stupid enough to think an eighth is an ounce.
