If you can petition the board to add what you are "suffering" from great, but I doubt that will be very easy. We'll see though, California law says something to the effect of any illness for which it provides relief.
It will be intresting to see how many sick people start popping up in NM with double glaucomas!
I can tell you right now, the number of people that suffer from just the stated illnesses will not be very high in relation to the regular population. And..
you have to figure that not all the "sick" people live close to each other or care to participate neccesarily. NM is fucking huge! So now you have to have provide access to a very small sliver of the population and somehow overcome the distances that those people are going to be spread over. Something stinks, I am closely watching NM and will be intrested to see what happens. This is just the beginning of the war it sounds like. Good luck, I hope that somehow people figure out how to provide safe and easy access to everyone.
