its got 6 CFLs in it...it has air coming in one side and out the other both are ported out of the box so when it sucks in air its coming from out side the box and when it pushes it out it goes out side the box

i like it, it helps keep the heat down

nice neat setup.:thumbsup: what is that a rubbermaid? i was thinking the same thing in regards to a fixture with cooling for my cfls. I was going to construct a hood frame from 1X2's but decided no wood, guess ill be digging out my tin snips and rivet gun..LOL. What kind of fan are you using? I have two 120mm fans sitting here waiting along with a whole lot of other shit ive bought just havent had the time to put it all together.

yea its rubbermaid i had to find one with a clear bottom so the light will shine through it

i have two 3 inch comp fans and then one 5 inch fan at the bottom
the 3 in fans are for the lights and 5 inch for the plants
