DON'T overdo it! If you're planning to add things such as blood/bone/feather meals, guanos, etc., to your soil, be sure you're measuring out how much needs to be added per square foot... don't just wing it, it can lead to disaster. A lot of people think that organic gardening is completely forgiving when it comes to feedings or soil amendments. Growing organically is more forgiving than lots of the chemical fertilizers on the market, but it can still be overdone.
