Are we as pathetic as I think?

Sorry the server froze while I added pics, now the question is missing.

Basically I was vegging way longer then I need to, now I started flowering on 12/12.

Ive had problems galore, one being my Hanna Meter. I do know my recipe is giving me 1100ppm should it be higher if the range can be as high as 1400?

My PH never moves really its over 7 by tap or after tap is distilled. Add nutes and PH goes down to 5.6 and doesnt move much. Now for the first time plants drank lots of water and when I tested later the PH was low 4s. I did a water change using tap to see what my meter would read, and the PH was 6.1, 1300ppm? Why did tap water with a high PH matter if the PH was the same when I use distilled?

What do you think of my plants? They look really small to me at 7 weeks old, again I just went to flowering so I cant figure out why everyone else has bushy plants that grow up and out?

PIC 1 & 4 last night, 2 is about Jan 10 when I got the clone, and PIC 3 was Feb 7 so they are now growing much faster then while I had them in veg.

    hey,
it doesnt look so bad. im sure that when you repotted those clones they probably just went into shock for a week or two. it looks like theyre picking up nicely though and just starting to flourish.

You need to develop a consistent schedule and stick to it. Can"t be letting your ph wander all over and your ppms do this, that and whatever else they feel like. Hydro is more work than soil........welcome to the game.

Check all numbers and adjust accordingly twice a day. Ph off? Fix it.....at LEAST twice a day and more if necessary. Every moment your ph is off (4??) you are encouraging stress and illness in your plants not to mention wasted time and money as the plant tries to get back on track.....over and over again.

Plants not eating your nutes and your numbers are rising? Figure out why. If your numbers get too high your plants can and will burn. Adjust numbers back to what they should be.....again twice a day or as often as necessary to keep them correct. Are you feeding them too much? Is your room too hot? Light too close? etc etc...

What kind of light are you using and how far away is it?

I am having trouble getting pictures now that the HPS light is on my plants they are real yellow close and far away. Is it safe to switch off the HPS over to something 15 watts cfl until the HPS is ready to restart?

My plants look like they get bigger every few hours. some lower leaves are dying off and some fan leaves are blocking other good branch tops from light can I remove either one?

    DAMP RID PICTURED BELOW
A disposable bag that controls humidity, and its eco fun and fits in a poorgirl or boys budget! Nothing to plug in, and $3 -10 resusable, or disposable styes. Says it last 3 months but its working fast!! :P

Yes you can....I do anytime I take photos or spray my plants with a foliar spray or something. As long as you have regular "room" light going you will still maintain the proper photoperiod.

Thanks Weedhound, I cant wait to show you how far those abused plants have come. 1 bucket has 2 plants that have about 10-12 tops plus lots shorter ones. Then the midget plant next to in the bucket alone is well................alive.

Some things like the giant reservoir & controller were a pain in the ass because I had 2 buckets that hold 2 gallons, and 10+ gallons that just took time and made a mess. The best thing I ever did was pick up valves at HD, attach them to my bucket at the gasket and then stick 8" blue hose. I set the plants off the ground high enough so when I test the water its turn the valve to fill the cup. Once I get my mumbers I take the reservoir stick it down below my plant and drain each bucket, adjust water all at once then with the same valve on my reservoir just put 2 gallons back into each bucket, I always start with 6 gallons 2 per bucket and 2 to add through the week.

No amount of logging my numbers has answered why my PH plunges. Sometimes the water I dont put back in the buckets will stay the same other days its dropping as fast as the plants. So other then that were already looking forward to brings the new kids out of the clone dome and starting our next crop.

This is the best pic I got till I figure out why the ceiling light in my grow room wont turn on.

    Ok....not to depress you....but I don't think there is quite a pound's worth there.

Good for you to leap on those plants and wrestle them into submission!! I beat mine with sticks fairly regularly. A dropping ph can indicate roots dying....something that may be normal or may be relatad to rootboundness or something. Are you using a zyme product?

    WHAT NOT A POUND? Each?

Im always on cloud 9 thinking these are the best damn plants any farmer has grown on the first try, I mean every other plant inside and out is now dead - silk plants are right up my alley

So these kids have been for flowering 19 days, its seems like an eternity!!!!!!!

I have like a white dust on my fan leaves, most blows off, rubs off, and last night I lightly misted the plant with pure water according to Clearex instructions and was not much left after the water evaporated. I took a leaf to a friend who said it was salt but I just want to make sure.

I believe you are looking at powdery mildew there. A good fungicide like Serenade will clear that up I think.....fairly common I believe but I've never had it myself. Maybe neem oil? Hmmm brb.....
