Could you live without a TV?

Well... i havent a TV in my home since 2000... but even when i had one i never was much a fan of it...

I would spend far too much time watching shit rather than study. Far to easy so it had to go.

I really like the computer as I can find out anything I need to know where as the tele just gives me information I don't need.

Tv is not pertinant to my survival.
I dont watch tv much anyway, as long as i have a computer im fine.

I know some people who would riot in the streets if their tele was taken away.

I got rid of my tele after the World Cup Final. I can get most games on the net now if I ever want to watch it.

I don't own a TV and never have, although various exes have insisted on the things lol.
I get my baseball fix at the nieghbors' house. Other than that, I'd rather be messing around in the garden than turning what's left of my already inadequate brain to mush!

I know what you mean about rather doing something else. When I had my tele it was just an excuse to avoid what I really wanted to get on with.

When I first got rid of it I was sitting in my livingroom staring into space when my hand unconsciously went out to pick up the non existent remote control. I'm past that now and really enjoy the quality time I have with my brain. Could you live without a tele? Rating: 5
