Could you live without a TV?

I've been living without a tele for about a year and half. When I first got rid of it I was sitting in my livingroom staring into space when my hand unconsciously went out to pick up the non existent remote control. I'm past that now and really enjoy the quality time I have with my brain.

Well... i havent a TV in my home since 2000... but even when i had one i never was much a fan of it...

Tv is not pertinant to my survival.
I dont watch tv much anyway, as long as i have a computer im fine.

I really like the computer as I can find out anything I need to know where as the tele just gives me information I don't need.

I got rid of my tele after the World Cup Final. I can get most games on the net now if I ever want to watch it.

I know what you mean about rather doing something else. When I had my tele it was just an excuse to avoid what I really wanted to get on with.
