Could you live without a TV?

Yes, after some thought I reckon I could live without TV, I would only miss the news channels, I am a bit of a news junkie but I could keep up with current events on the PC.

At many time in my life for one reason or another, ive gone without tv. It always surprizes me how i think it cant be done and after a week a forget the tv even exists. does anyone think that tv has actually gotten worse after the writers strike? its like they realized that people still watched when there was nothing new or even entertaining on and they just said fuck it...its cheaper to not make something new and stuck with it. as for me, i have cable right now only cause its only 15 dollars more with my high speed access which i cant live with out. besides i think it gives my girlfriend something to do!

I would however miss these things
Something to attach my growing number of games consoles to (I don't get rid of old ones , I still have a Sega megadrive lurking somewhere )

I had a heart attack a few years ago and went totally bananas afterwards. I killed all the tvs. It took a while to get used to but let me tell ya life became so much more. I worked hard and played harder. MY wife and kids even began to enjoy the silence.

Its great. Now I just have to limit the net
I have not been so successful at that yet.

best thing on TV... well most of the adult swim lineup is freakin awesome... I used to love sea lab 2021 aswell...
