NEED HELP!!!!!!

I'm a NOOB and my plant is about a week or two old its about an inch out of the soil and its upright and looking good. But as I checked it out this morning the tips of the 2 leaves were bright yellowish brown... Is this from lack of water or is it something else cause it looks like its drying out cause of the color of the tips....

What kind of soil are you using? Does it have fertilizer in it? Have you been fertilizing them with anything else?
