2) When the browning of the sugar leaves progresses into the bud itself, it may be more difficult to manicure the buds to the desired neatness- if you want them to look good, you should really try to get any dead, browned, crispy stuff off the plant before drying the buds.

But that looks good. Nice work. I think the yellowing is at an appropriate level for this stage in flower. And the crystals are oh so sweet.
Thanks stinkyattic!
I am not sure the real reason for the crispy leaves, it started around week 7 and I think I did overfertilize around that time, right after I noticed it happening I flushed and ran a gallon of dilluted fert mix through it. After that I fed them the same light mix two more times and at 8 weeks i started on straight water. I am thinking the plant is probably rootbound or there is a ph problem. But I am past the point of worrying about the problems it has and am looking to harvest. How good they look all trimmed up isn't really an issue to me but i will try and get as much of the crispy leaves off as possible. It is my first full length grow and I couldnt be happier! I would like to say thank you to you for all the information you have taught me, even though i dont have many posts I have done more research than typing and there is alot of great information on here if you look for it, and alot of the better information I have taken in has come from you. So it is nice to finally get to say thank you!:thumbsup:
