Just keep it going, she should survive. Feed her less frequently, and with lower-strength nutrients at first. Roots can be pruned intentionally to cut back on mass and slow growth, that's all you did.

gainesvillegreen Reviewed by gainesvillegreen on . roots ripped off, any hope? hi i was just transplanting my plants to a 3 gallon bucket and during the transfer i carelessly and accidentally ripped off about the bottom 15-20% of the roots...the plant was being moved out of where it was seeded so the plant itself is only about 9 inches tall basically, i decided to just transplant as normal and see what happend...its been about 10 hours and the plant is just slumping over alot and doesnt look very healthy my question is did i do too much damage to my plant and is it Rating: 5
