Should I go from 3 to 5 gal

If I have been in 3 gal for the last month, do I have to go to 5 gal or can I just replant them into new OF soil in the 3 gallon. The plants are about 21inches tall. 2nd week of 12/12. Any advice?

Go up to the 5 gallon. Were you planning on scraping soil off the root ball? How were you going to fit MORE soil into the same size pot?

Go up in size, that way the roots have more space to grow.
