"CFLs Don't Grow Plants" and other such adeventures

It's totally chill bro, that is why I smoke weed. Hijacking threads is peaches n' cream compared to my fucked up life :hippy:

So I went back to the store and there was this TV crew from some universitie's public info broadcast, similar to PBS or some shit like that and he was showing some customer how to clone a plant, then he trashed the example cutting he just took

He was really short with me, which kinda bugs me, as it is over a hour long drive for me, but he did mention, "O yeah, so you were right about the vinegar."

Got the damn $25 Ocean Forest. He told me not to bother mixing it with perlite or anything, but I think I still may... thoughts?

melodious fellow Reviewed by melodious fellow on . "CFLs Don't Grow Plants" and other such adeventures at the hydro shop. It was quite a journey. Was kinda high and missed the exit on the highway, more than once. Anyway, the hydro shop was kinda ghetto, but amazing nonetheless as it was my first time. The guy at the shop got in an argument with me, swearing that vinegar is highly alkaline and they use it to raise Ph. I cited the vinegar baking soda experiment, and he got mad at me and said "O, so you know more than me OKAY." Then he was kinda a jerk the rest of the time I was Rating: 5

i was thinking that. when you consider that 50$ of daylight cfls and wiring could beat a 300$ 400w MH lamp, you wonder why you opted for the pricy one a little...

I mean don't get me wrong, CFL's work for sure. I've used em' and done at least 3 grows with sole CFL's. So i know.

How many lumens per watt are you getting with your HID, Bong?

I have heard that most get around 100 or so...

I am at about 74, which isn't bad I guess for super cheap bulbs.

    peace
