    Sexing early.......or not

    Hey all,

Please let me know if what i am doing is complete fluke or not.
I have grown a few mothers from seed over the years without advice, i basically start 3 from mix seed and then identify the strongest female. My method of sexing has been to look out for the little hair like things that appear under the stems(dont even know what they are). I have been under the impression that this is sign of female and the male will not have these as visible or develop as early. I have always got a result with female everytime and very early identification but is this right.

    Cheers

Most of the time you will notice the males first before females, not alll the time but males tend to grow a bit faster and taller right at first. This is what you should look for... and sometimes your plant may not show until it's been 12/12...
