So I need a few new pieces....

I agree with the connoisseur part.

    Right now I've got
    1 Gandalf (long spoon)
3 metal pipes (solo pipe, protopipe, bud bomb)
1 18" ATX (which is like a local Roor type)
    1 30" Acrylic from Matrix
1 6" Acrylic from Matrix (bubble type)
1 12" from Matrix (bent neck)

    1 micro bubbler that's a converted vial
    1 wood bowl
    1 Glass bubbler/hammer type
2 Vaporizers (wood box vapor bros knockoff and old school converted soldering iron)

    1 hookah

So I need a few new pieces....

I want to start up a collection of maybe 5-10 *clean* one-hitters/chillums/small&cheap spoons so that I can just stealthily pack one or two on a visit home, get a few grams there, and then have something cheap and easily disposable once the weekend/week is over and I return to where I currently am.

Due to my disability, I do not have the means to visit headshops in my mother's town. Having a small, cheap, clean implement means that I can travel down with it safely, use it, and then toss it without feeling too bad about wasting money or losing an object that I was attached to.

My personal philosophy is that you need 3 pieces:

    The Bong that stays home
The Glass Spoon or Gandolf or Sherlock that you bring to the party.
The Stealth like the Bud Bomb or Protopipe or Solopipe. Something to travel with.

Any more than that and you're getting redundant.

I'm a big gadget guy though.

Grinder with Keif collector is priority. You don't even need to press it into hash. You can just take a small amount and sprinkle it in your joint or on top of your bowl for a supercharge.

    :smokin: becomes :rastasmoke:
Ya that is pretty much how i feel i mean why get a pollen press for 20 bucks? you can just like roll with it or sprinkle it on a bowl.

Right now i only have what i really need.

    glass spoon
    small metal one hitter
and 2 bong(one is a normal glass on glass and the other one is a mini festival bong)
    and a pollen collecting grinder.
thats all i need. now i only spend my money on weed and rolling papers lol. :rastasmoke:

Is there really a big diffrence? if there is then i might as well get it since i have a pollen grinder. I normally would keep my kief and roll a normal size joint with it which gets me really high.

well it depends, are you rolling the joint completely out of keif?

If so then no, there won't be a major difference. If you compress .5g and put it in a bowl though...

I think I paid more than 20 for my press but it's a space case...

What I'm doing these days is pressing .25g and puting it in my hot plate type vaporizer.

Very nice, donsolo. :-) I'm glad that you're having a great time, and you're right, pressing .5gm of keif and smoking it sounds GREAT.

I don't know what it is, but there's just something really wonderful about having a new piece, imho. I guess it just must be the consumer in me, but I love having something smooth and clean and new to smoke out of. Also, LOL, I'm realizing that the first pipe I bought was SO big. It's about 5 inches. I have a second, smaller one that about 3.75inches, but they're both hard to conceal, which is why I might buy a few small chillums/bats/really small spoons.

EDIT: In order, from left to right, there is: a ruler, my first pipe (5 inches), my cellphone, the closed tupperware container that I keep my weed in, my small second pipe. and my black ball grinder.

Oh that acctuly sounds really cool to press and vape it. Too bad i don't have a vape i might get a volcano if i get enough money. I ussaly just let my kief sit until it is enough to roll a jay i don't mix it ussaly it is pure kief. If i get a vape then i def need the press then.

    Dude, honestly,

This needs to be taken to the vaporizer section for this but there are many reasons why the Volcano might not be the vape for you. I have a vapor bros whip style and I like that a LOT more than the bag method (Though I don't vape off that because I can't get the air to pass over it so easy).

I've had this discussion about guitars. You definitely need a certain quality level in order to have a great result (like Vaporizing compared to smoking) that sounds professional, but that doesn't mean that a 14,000 guitar is going to sound any better than a $1,500 guitar. At that point, it's just about how you play it. The same goes for vaporizers. They seem to range from about 200-800 for quality. Don't just like a vape because of the price tag is my point.

Do stay away from the hot plate design though if you're planning on doing anything but kif pressed.
