So I need a few new pieces....

I already have a wonderful, large-bowled, blue and white swirl spoon pipe. I love it and it works wonderfully with me, but it's too big to really easily carring a pocket or to conceal outside of my purse. Until a week ago, I had a small personal bubbler (that I didn't really like). I ended up passing it off to my roommate when she had bad luck with her pieces.

So, after working a few hours this weekend, I have enough to go pick up one or two things from a head shop tonight. I want to eventually collect a very small pipe that can easily be concealed and kept clean in case I need to travel so I don't get para charges. I also want a decent sized bong (last one barely filtered the smoke and it hit SO harshly), a grinder with a pollen collector, and possibly some rolling papers so I can learn how to make a joint.

Or I could just buy more weed. LOL.

Any ideas or suggestions on what to get first? I can always work more, and at $20/hr, it's not bad work for a college student.

Ah, I ended up getting a small grinder, a small baby pipe, and a sweet bong that filters very well. The only minor problem is that the bong does not have a slide, so you have to carb it from a hole in the back. But it hits so well. I'm thinking I may let my roommate use this one, since she left my bubbler over at her boyfriends. She's been coughing awfully from the shwag she bought a week ago, and I think this will help her be able to take hits without coughing as much. This time I'll make the rule that she has to keep it here, at our place. No dropping it off at a friend's.

Sorry, I didn't get that reply in time, or I would have waited on the grinder and the baby pipe and bought a few grams of dank. At the moment, I'm fairly well set in that area. I have a little over 1/4th of good dank and 1/2 oz of shwag, so I'm pretty okay for a good while.

I didn't realize when I bought my weed a week ago that buying in such large quantities (for personal use) means that you suddenly never see your dealer at all (because you dont' need to buy any more and you're not close enough to just go hang), and, along with that, everyone you know through him. That's been sort of weird, not seeing them for a week. I could have used this as an excuse to go over there. Oh, well! Perhaps next time.

well if your set then your set, i usually end up not having any come time to get my paycheck so i end up buying a piece and some green, but it seems like your pretty set, i too need to get a grinder, but am debating how much im willing to spend, and that kind of stuff, but there is always tax return money to just spend for no reason.

yeah new pieces aren't always the answer.
My personal philosophy is that you need 3 pieces:

    The Bong that stays home
The Glass Spoon or Gandolf or Sherlock that you bring to the party.
The Stealth like the Bud Bomb or Protopipe or Solopipe. Something to travel with.

Any more than that and you're getting redundant.

I'm a big gadget guy though.

Grinder with Keif collector is priority. You don't even need to press it into hash. You can just take a small amount and sprinkle it in your joint or on top of your bowl for a supercharge.

Jimmy, I just got a cheap ball grinder. I'm a little OCD, and I have a habit of getting high, taking my weed, and using two fingers to completely crush it to a powder while I'm high and out of it. So, all I really need is something to take the huge buds and stems and such (mostly I smoke chronic, and there's very few stems in it, but as long as their not too unreasonable, I don't mind letting a stem or two in sometimes) and turn it into just really small chunks. Those I can then take and break up even more while I'm high.

So far as being set goes............ I just started smoking about a month and a half ago. During that time, I realized my dealer was getting all of my money anyway, so why not just make one lump payment, get more pot, and admit to myself that it's what I would use the money for anyway. *shrugs* It's not like I regularly have this much on me. :-)

Donsolo, yeah, I agree, pieces aren't always the right answer. However, I just started smoking a month or so ago, and since I handed off the bubbler I didn't much like, I was left with just a glass spoon.

So, lol, I was actually completing the list you laid out. I got 1) the bong that stays at home (it rips wonderfully!) 2) the very small stealthy pipe for on the go. That one is so amazing. I should post a picture of it beside my big spoon pipe. The small one looks almost exactly like a miniature of the bigger one, so I've decided to call that one "Mini-Me."

    :-)

nice, and that is what i plan on doing with my tax return money, maybe try to buy a few ounces and keep costs down to a minimum in that area for the next few months, but its nice getting a new piece and being able to smoke out of it that night, the last one i bought i couldnt, but i plan on buying a grinder this weekend actually so i plan on getting a nice one, and trying to get some weed before my paycheck goes to things i cant live without.

i dont like vapping compared to smoking but i have only met a few people that feel that way

    i have:
    3 spoons
    2 steam rollers
    2 bongs
    [3.5 foot bong ADS]
    [1.5 foot roor]
    1 bubbler
    1 chillum (one hitter)
5 different bowels that fit both my bongs

i dont think i am redundant i consider my self to be more of connoisseur
