BioLEDs
I searched the forum and found nothing about them. And it's damn near impossible to seach the web for them. Everyone seems to mispell the word 'boiled.' Anyone hear anything about them? I heard they use DNA instead of rare metals so they should be less expensive. The DNA causes the electrons pass thru the pin hole slower causing more light. It's got me all excited. I don't even know who develops them though. Wouldn't want to be in the shoes of those that picked up a set of those overpriced ones. Unless they are completely useless in terms of growing, then this discussion is moot.

BioLEDs
Oh nm, ignore me I'm retarded. Here is a quote from wikipedia
"OLEDs typically emit less light per area than inorganic solid-state based LEDs which are usually designed for use as point-light sources." Wikipedia
Then again we are not exactly using LEDs as the point-light sources in this case are we? We are hanging arrays a foot above them. If we were using them as point-light sources then we'ld be putting them directly on the fan leafs.
