why not? my lil brother burned our yard like 3/4 of it and the next month it was green as shit...

if you used pot ash you would get unknown amounts of nutrients and perhaps even greatly
change the ph of your growing medium
i'd suggest just sticking to bottled brands or guano because at least that way you get
controlled or slow release nutrients
