Having to put my 400W Cool Tube in vertically

I want to put the light portion up, so it won't be too close to the plants. The box is only 2' X 2' X 4'. I would like to put the fan to pull the hot air off, on the top of the box, and the intake near the bottom. I always thought that the fan pulling the hot air needed to be opposite the lamp end though, but both ends are open. Is there any reason that I CAN'T do this? (Intake on the completely open end, and pull off the hot air on the open end with the bulb?) :hippy:

Well, I guess if you can put 2 or more inline, then it must not be THAT important? Anyone? :hippy:

I was going to use direct ventilation for the light. Exhaust on top and passive intake on the bottom (side) through flex tubing. I do have 2 active exhaust fans and 2 passive intakes for the cabinet too though. Maybe I should add a pan of H2O in there? Does it matter which end the exhaust fan goes to? Thanks a bunch and have fun partying. LdyMarsRN :hippy:

I put my 400W Cooltube in vertically, with the exhaust fan after the light. >----tube---light----fan----> I'm I going to have a problem with this? Does the exhaust HAVE to be out of the open end of the tube, without the bulb? It's running right now, so I really need to know. Thanks, Ldy :hippy:
