Flower Better on Night Cycle
Nature isn't perfect.

Personally I continue reducing the light time during flowering 15 min/week until I reach 10 hours, because in nature the days continue to grow shorter even after it reaches the magic 12 hour cycle, even though the research doesn't support this. Intellectually I know its wrong but it just seems to work for me.
BTW, Looks like a great plant!!!

Flower Better on Night Cycle what does ur plant see when ur lights are out for 12hrs? do u have white walls? mirrorlike mylar walls? or red walls? blue walls? ---theres got to be some kind of sparkly light reflecting to be like stars and the moon to be what a plant sees which is the suns reflected light anyway---i go red...iv put an infrared 150W lamp on and off every 2 hours during the dark cycle for flowering .It comes on along near the floor not aiming at the plant but enough of the red light reflcts Rating: 5

i agree ---i'l even give give her an extra hour of dark once in a while just like a day might be duller and think of a lightning storm going all night on her ---lots of bright light blasts that night maybe 1 night every 2weeks.

adding lights right underneath the plants is a great idea....well done BSPECTRAL.....i will do the same with 3 floros i happen to have....this way i hope to strengthen the lower parts that do not get light because of the fan leaves that get in the way.....

give them 24hrs light 7 days a week until u put her at 12/12,it cant be done any better than that with whatever lights u have, and different lights are better than just one light.I think i was flowering for 1 week to separate males from girls before i repotted in these pics for u...i only got 1 girl out of seven seeds

my guess would be around 14 fluoros each 120 cm long of those grolux type......i'm not sure about the wattage though.....36 or 72 watts each....also from what i've read from Bspectrals' posts, he uses a MH as well.....nice setup, like a sunbed created just for plants!
