Good to hear the ACLU is backing the fight, maybe this will begin opening the eyes of those who are blind to the truth.

IMO the only reason I can't see marijuana becoming legal is the lack of being able to have government regulation. Legalizing it, many of the users will start growing their own and the gov won't be able to get any money from what we grow. Although I do say I would love being able to walk to the corner mart and pick up a few grams and more importantly to me, being able to go walk around smokin a jay and enjoying life without any fear of gettin stopped by the popo :hippy: (Where I live I had a cop stop me for smokin a cig while out walkin my dog, he thought it was a joint :wtf: Cops in my city have nothing better to do honestly)

Travel writer Rick Steves and the American Civil Liberties Union of Washington have formed a partnership to tackle a topic they call the equivalent of the prohibition of alcohol in the 1920s: the criminalization of marijuana. Steves, the Edmonds, Wash.-based travel guru who five years ago openly acknowledged that he uses marijuana while visiting Europe, says he's not "pro-marijuana," but in favor of discussing the laws that affect the 830,000 Americans who are arrested annually Rating: 5
