soil hydro
I prefer my buds to come from soil. I personally believe it has a better flavor. (and if I screw-up, or a fitting comes loose, it doesn't flood the house)

Regardless of which method you choose, you'll need the basics:- Quality genetics. (good bagseed is great to learn with)
- Proper lights for veg and flower.
- Proper ventilation.
- Proper nutrients.
- A ph pen.
- Ability to keep a secret.
- Willingness to read and learn.
- Patience. Lots of patience.
