Dude... i fucking love buckethead. All of his music is incredible and i would do anything to see him live.....

I saw him when he was touring with GNR. Mainly went just to see buckethead, but GNR is decent.

His recent albums are pretty good, but his older stuff is a little weird. Crime Slunk Scene and Peppers Ghost are pretty decent albums. Acoustic shards has some cool acoustic stuff, but it's not really where you want to start. Those are really the only albums I got of his last year. He released something like 5 CDs in 2007 and I think I heard he is recording a new one right now.

A buddy of mine came over and played me some of his stuff. I really got into it, and have been meaning to find some more of his work. I'm a guitarist and was once in a band, so I've got a profound respect for talent like him.

I've recently gotten hooked on an artist named David Valdes. He's a virtuoso out of Spain. He does a ton of shredding and general metal chops, but has got the ability to play some amazing rhythms and insanely melodic solos. Check this video out: Paradise Lost - David Valdes.

Good to know he gets some positive recognition around here. Did you try that sample I posted? imho it equals or even betters his studio albums.

BTW I watched the David Valdes vid. Quite tasty playing indeed :thumbsup:

Yeah I've seen him a few times and each time was pretty badass. If anyone gets the chance to see him do it!

He's playing a latenight at Wakarusa this year which I would love to do, but I'm going to a couple other festivals and just can't afford it.
