I need to cut back on it. This weekend we had a 4 day weekend and i've done it 5 times already.

Do you guys that drink dxm.... ...use a chaser, I cant stand how some of the liquid dxm tastes, delsym, some robitussin, etc.... i usually chase it down with coke and hold my nose so i cant taste it... its fine for like the first couple sips then i cant help my gag reflexes. cold coke works good. Do you guys do that?? what do ya use? whoa, I took like 600 mg like an hour ago to get a good feeling.... and shit, i just turned around to look at my friend and BAM! I feel dizzy and my sight is blurry, lol... im gonna Rating: 5

This is probably not the kind of drug you want to be doing frequently. It may not visibly harm your body, but it obviously has addictive potential and fucks with your mind if you arn't careful.

Thanks for the information, Nullific. In my defense, though, I knew that there were currently no proven human cases of permanent brain damage associated with DXM. However, I live by a "better safe than sorry" philosophy. I've found myself to be completely susceptible to DXM addiction, and have therefore chosen to limit myself to as little recreational use as possible.

Well if you must use liquid, I recomend some kinda chaser, personally i like seven up or somthing with fizz. For me each time i do it, it tastes worse and worse and gets harder and harder to gulp down, I dont know how anyone, unless already on dxm (I can't taste a damn thing when on DXM) can chug robo and enjoy the taste.

water is the best chaser even if you dont mind the taste. dxm dehydrates you to a high degree so the more water you drink the better.

the best idea is to get robotussin cough gels but if you have to drink the syrup just pour the whole thing in a glasss and and a full glass of water and toothpaste. Hold your nose and down the robo then with your nose still held down the watter and put the toothpaste in your mouth it works for me and iv done oer 1100 in one sitting with just the syrup
