i have searched alot but i cannot find what dwc stands for.

im just guessing but i think it is a bubbler system where the water splashes up to the roots then the roots eventually hit the water and soak up the o2 and nutes from there is that correct?

also in this system do you ever have to hand water, or do you ever have to pour water onto the top surface of the growing medium?

sorry for the newb question but i couldn't find the deffinition anywhere. you can delete this after but i think it will help out newbs like me alot thanks
