I've had effects that I consider to be mildly psychedelic. Not anything like the scale or intensity of what you were describing for other psychedelics, but still mildly psychedelic.

I've had visual effects like shimmery edges around things, sort of an "aura" effect. I also tend to get the sense of seeing flow and movement in certain patterns such as wood grains. And I sometimes see ripples as if I am looking through water. And when I listen to music I often get a visualization effect where I see patterns in my head that react to the sounds. I also get a sense of expanded mental space when I listen to music and close my eyes. And I can hear each instrument distinctly and separate from the rest in much greater detail than I can otherwise. Sometimes I have a feeling of super senses, like I can hear very faint sounds very far away.

Most of these effect have a lot to do with the quantity that I consume and the preparation. I'm a lot more likely to experience something like I described if I take a large dose of green dragon than if I just smoke.

I'm not sure about strains. I would say that I probably experience these kinds of things more with sativa-like strains than with indica-like strains, but I'm not very knowledgable about strains. And I never know about the specific named strain I have, such as Northern Lights, or Trainwreck, etc. I think a lot of the cooking techniques I use that bring out these effects tend to make the THC and cannabinoid composition and ratios a bit more like sativa than indica, but I'm not really sure about that.
