Over-heating growroom
Hello all. I'm having a hell of a time getting my daytime temp below 80. I thought it was fine for a week, then realized my probe wasnt working properly. Since getting my new probe, I had to add an eight in in line duct booster for my outside air intake. It was previously a passive intake. I was running so hot I added to see what kinda difference it would make. It shaved about 4-5 degrees. So currently, Its about 75 the first two hrs. Up to eighty for about five to six more hrs. Then crept up to 85 by the final 4-5 hrs. How harmful will 85 degree air be? Surely there is a simple way to fix the problem i am overlooking!? Maybe??? Not an option for a AC as I have no window in my partitioned off area. Thanks for any and all suggestions.!!!!!!!!!!

Current air flow is as follows:
I have the previously mentioned 8 in duct booster pulling cold outside air into my setup.
I grow vertically hydroponically, utilizing a vertitube. My vertitubes hot air is being pulled out by a Vortex 6 in. fan through a closed loop.
I also have a 6 in. Vortex fan on my charcoal filter exhausting.
nighttime temp is steady 74. Higher than normal because of my day temp being so high. Compensating for temp change, preventing mold? At least thats my thinking. Its definitely cutting down on condensation buildup after daytime.

Definitely maintaining negative pressure. Intense vacuum on my panda film.
My "closed loop" simply means that the vertitubes heat never enters my room directly. My room is partitioned off in just panda film. I pull outside room air into the top of my growroom, straight down through the vertitube and immediately back out of my grow area. Then its exhausted out into my house. I have no attic space to work with. This is the reasoning for this.
Thanks

I too cannot seem to keep my daytime temps under 80. Usually average high 80s. I am interested to see how you fix this, or if it is even really harmful or not to a grow.
Has anyone successfully grown anything is higher than desirable temps (80s+)?
Good luck bro, I think I am going to have to buy another AC

Over-heating growroom
I've been growing in 20 percent humidity, with daytime temps ranging from 80-90 degrees most of the time. No CO2. As for being a successful grow, I'd say it's not bad for my first. I was expecting about 1-2 zips per plant, with 9 plants under a 600 watt HPS in a 4v4 tray. I would've likely gotten it, but the combination of forgetting to water, nute burn, heat stress, moderate fungus gnat infestation, and a weeklong flush to fix the burn (this all happened within weeks 4 and 5
) slowed their growth a good deal. Now expecting probably...1-1.5. As far as the quality goes...when I reach through my canopy to water, my arms are sticky when they make their way out. They smell sweet, skunky, and have some of the most beautiful and dense trich formation I've ever seen, including pictures from magazines and whatnot(used a microscope ;]). So I believe it can be done.However...
DO keep in mind that I used a good deal of the Advanced Nutrients line.(expensive crud)
also...
DO be careful about keeping the girls(hopefully) hydrated. Extreme heat + not enough water = extremely unhappy plant (in my experience)
