Hi WeedNeedy

I am growing a strain of NL, I started in a short cabinet so I wanted them to grow sideways. I since then rebuilt my cabinet to 7ft and don't have that worry. I used a 450w MH for veg and had to keep them low they had only 4ft of head room. I just took some stiff wire and put a hook on one end, then stuck it into soil and pulled branches down to where I wanted them. I didn't move my plants around a lot, but it might be a good idea.

Here are some shots of my trained NL, none are above 2ft.
Most of the wires have been removed now that I have a lot of head room, but you can still see a few in place.

Training them to stay low is pretty easy.
Dreadscale Reviewed by Dreadscale on . Plants Growing Sideways? I wasnt sure if i should put this in techniques or problems cause its sort of both, i have 4 northern lights growing in a cab...they are still fairly small especially for day 37, they didnt like my original soil and it stunted their growth for a long while till i realized there was a problem (1st time grower) anyways, 3/4 plants are good, there is only 1 plant that is not sitting directly under a light due to space issue in the cab...that plant is obviously growing towards the closest light Rating: 5
