You know what, on second thought, maybe I'll just invest in a 400hps, if I got a 3x3x5 or so grow box, maybe mixed in with some cfl's. If I got good ventilation I would think that setup would work. I'm confused though how can I cram all the lights for vegging and all the lights for flowerin in the same cabinet? It would seem to be easier to just setup 2 different boxes, one with just fluorescents at like 6500k for vegging then a different (bigger) flowering box with 2700k fluoro's on the sides and then a 400hps on the top.
KaliGreen Reviewed by KaliGreen on . Lighting question for growbox setup?? Need Help! Hey guys, I was thinking about putting together a growbox about 2' wide by 2' deep by about 4' high. I was thinking about getting a 125w HPS on the canopy and then either 2 cfl's on each side of the plant or a 2' fluorescent tube light on either side. I would have a 4" active outake at the top with a 2" passive intake at the bottom, probably use a little computer fan or something similar for the active out take. I was just wondering if this would be sufficient for 1 or 2 plants, and if I did Rating: 5
