He's already REEEEEEEALLY stoned.

If you don't have intermediate pots, styrofoam party cups with a couple chunks pinched out of the bottom edge to make large holes work great.

A plant can grow to about 4-6" happily in a party cup depending on how bushy it is. You can check by letting the soil get rather dry, supporting the soil with one hand, and upending it and giving a sharp slap on the bottom with the other. The root ball should slide right out. If roots are starting to coil around the bottom, or coming out the drain holes, repot!

Transplanting Help please So I am starting my plants off in starter plugs, after the plant starts growing and roots develop i was planning on transplanting into 3 gallon grow bags. Can a young plant, survive in a 3 gallon grow bag? or do i have to transplant into a smaller pot and then into the 3 galloner? Thanks. Rating: 5
