    Wait or Flower

Welp, i found a digital so here are some pictures of my current grow. 2 Plants are on a higher level only because i was pressured for space and under them the closet is slanted so i have to rig what you see, making them a little higher, though it doesnt effect anything really in a negative way. Anywayz im looking for a good yield but i dont want these babies gettin to big [like my last grow did]. Come tomorrow these would have been on a month of veg, i was thinking about letting them go another week then jumping them into flower and id like to hear some suggestions or comments...oh and my digital didnt have a good filter for my HPS so thats why they look like yellow, but they a healthy looking green. Im also using LST on a couple of them [thats why the tops of over on like 3 and you might see some string in there.:rastasmoke:

They are a month old today and my setup is a 430 HPS lamp, with 2 CFLs hangin a little lower to keep a more MH type spectrum but imma take them out soon as i start flower. Those ones are on a higher level becuz of my space issue, but all seem to be growin equal, using some LST for the bigger ones. Yeah ill prob wait maybe 3 or so weeks then start to flower. The room issue will prob be taken care of as soon as i pull my males after the first week of flower then i can really setup them up a little better.

id give em one more week in veg. at this point, every week in veg is gonna add like 20-30% to your final harvest.

Really? 20-30% per extra week of veg, eh? So... if you were to veg for an extra month, you'd get an extra 80-120% bud mass? I'd love to see a link verifying this...

SunnySativa: Your plants are probably pretty close to showing their pre-flowers, which indicates that they're sexually mature enough to flower. I'd recommend at least waiting to see those before you induce flowering. Whether or not you should flower right then is up to you. The longer you veg, the more potential you'll have for possible bud sites through lateral branching, especially if you've done LST. You'll give the lateral branching a little more time to catch up with the tops. But you should also keep in mind that your plants will likely double in size by the time you finish, which might cause a space issue.

On your next grow, given that you're growing the same strain, you'll have a little better idea about how long you should veg based on your personal conditions.

what do you mean by the pre-flowers? How do i see those? I just have to make sure this grow is done by the first week in May, with that condition, should i start flower now? As long as its done say at the end of the first week in may [done with harvest even] when do be the best time to flower. I wana let them veg as long as possible, but i gotta have em done by early May....

Are those in the containers you're going to flower in? If so, then start flowering them now. If not, it would be better to transplant into the final containers now and wait a few days to begin flowering.
