The extremists who blow themselves up on trains have got nothing to do with religion, or Islam. Let's keep the portrayal of those two things separate, out of respect for true muslim cultural values.

Fair enough, they made a mistake and printed a cartoon which offended the muslim world, I'm sure they didn't mean to. They now have the assholes who threatened the "artists" life, Great! There's no need to kill anyone for putting their foot in it.

They donot need to reprint these cartoons knowing that it will offend people again. It's not necessary.

Is it really so difficult to just not publish cartoons like this, regardless of wether the extremists were out of line sending death threats, or whether you think the muslims are perhaps overreacting to it, portraying a religious figure as a terrorist is very disrespectful, in my opinion.
