    Obesity

I see a lot of people worry about pot and consequences such as lung disease or facial aging.

Before tobacco, pot, lung disease kills us, please look at what is really going to kill us: Obesity.

    Obesity is worse than Crack:

    It will lead to:

    Diabetes
    High Blood Pressure
    High Cholesterol
    Neuropathy
    Kidney Failure
    Arthritis
    Pulmonary Hypertension
    Right sided Heart Failure
    Lower Leg Swelling
    Lymphedema
    Early Death

Why do I say this? My aunt-age 51-just died from her weight last week. Respiratory failure. We couldn't get her off the ventilator. We had to put her on goddamn hospice. At 51? It was really a sorry sorry way to go out.

    Death by food.

One in four Americans is fat.

Join the club. We're all going to die earlier than our parents. The studies are out there.

Wait did u hear me? The studies are out there: We will statistically die earlier than our parents for one reason. They are less obese than us.

    Peace People.

    Obesity

My New Years resolution was to lose some weight. Started watching the calories, getting back hard and heavy into the exercise and I'm happy to say that I'm now 27 pounds lighter than I was at X-mas.

Give up the soda pop, watch the calories your taking in and the percentage based on fat.....after that nothing a couple hundred crunchers a day won't handle. LOL...I'm up to about 1000 a day now. If I feel like having a snack, like a bowl of peaches, I do 200 crunchers before and another 200 after.

Ya can't start out at that though....if you even start with 10 at a time, it's all good!

    Have a good one!

I know this is my first post, but I have to chime in. I've been a medical marijuana user for 20 months. When I began my new medicine I was 364 pounds, 20 months later I'm 257. What changed, for lack of better way of putting it, " I started smokin' weed"!

So weed does not always put weight on. I'm bipolar with a severe spinal cord injury; albeit, I can walk. Marijuana changed my life for the best, hence, the weight loss.

    Medcaper,
Do you mind me asking what strain you use? I wonder if weight gain/loss depends any on what you use? I know some is more "munchie". :hippy:

thanks for replies and sentiments guys and gals.

Good strain to avoid munchies: Avoid schwagg.

Go higher with WW or the medicinal grades. The last thing on your mind on the widow is food. I lost weight with medicinal grades too-gained with lower level stuff.

I am growing Lowryder2, White Widow, Blueberry and Lemon Skunk......I just don't want any that will make me gain, or make it even harder to lose.... I'd think those are considered high end? Thanks. :hippy:
