Yeah I thought I'd try something a little different. And I got each lamp with bulbs for $100 each. Mine has 8 of the 3000k bulbs in each lamp.

1) what K are the CFL?
2) are you doing a log?
3) why 3000 instead of 2700 or 2500, and please don't tell me it's because they don't make them. I just bought some T5 grow (6 thousand something K), and I just assumed I would later be able to put in some bulbs that are the correct color for budding. If not, I don't even think I want them.
PS.
4) what's the length on those T5s?
5) how many lamps per light? looks like about 8
6) how many lumens per lamp, or how many per light total?
7) a hundred damn bucks? Is that deal available to me and if so how?

Well, here's a silly answer to go along with my silly question you say I have. The T5 4foot light has the option of 6500 or 3000. Nothing more.

That's not a silly answer. It answers that question perfectly. Crap, now I don't want them. If what you say is true T5 lighting sucks. Don't buy any unless you want it only for veg. Didn't I kinda hear that someplace before?

6:5000 lumens per bulb,40,000 total
7" I bought them off hydroponics.net while they were on sale. I think they're $150 each now.

Thanks for the info guys. A real eye opener, damn it.
PS. Are you absolutely sure? No 2700 or something, anywhere?

I have seen 2700k's on the net but they don't seem to be the t5 High Output lamps. 20 or 30 watts so they won't have the lumens.

I can't locate anything other than the 6500 or 3000. If anyone finds any let me know. Until then, tucking fan leaves and rotating plants is the order of the day!

T5 grow is over. Finished about 10 days early. Not sure why. It really seems like they quit growing about 2 weeks before that. I attribute it to the T5's as I never had a problem with HPS. I will send details of yield once it cures.
