Throwing them in the dark for 24 hours after the prolonged light period is probably not such a hot idea either. The less you change the 12/12 photoperiod, the less chance of running into problems. If this had happened to me, I would have just reset the timer and let them continue on the same schedule.

It was supposed to shut off at 3am so it went about 6 hours over. I'm at day 32 of 12/12. I'm leaving the light off for the next 24 hours. How much is this going to set me back?
