topping question

can i top in flowering if i have many new colas starting off the sides??
will there be to much stress on the plant???

Im not sure, but I had some smaller colas leaning almost upside down, so I cut them off and Im letting the rest of the smaller on the branch grow

how far into flower are you. i probably wouldnt if you are more than a week or two into it, it will stress your plant as its making its flowering "switch". i always topped in veg and let heal for 2 weeks before flowering.

plant on the left has been topped about 3 or 4 times and the other pic is topping and tieing at an ealry stage.

I topped during veg also. I believe it puts too much stress if its flowering for too long :stoned:

I only top in extreme cases. Bending is much better.
Do a search for Scrog or LST.
